This race combines the adventure of a challenging run with unique and impressive insights into an ancient culture. We will witness the amazement in children's eyes when they watch you run through their aboriginal villages, and experience the beauty of unspoiled nature and wildlife in a country that still is one of the world's best kept secrets!

The race starts in a Buddhist temple were monks will be wishing you the best of luck for the race and we camp in ancient temples which also served as filming location for the movie "Indiana Jones"
(and now for The Trail Beyond!).

Runners will refresh their senses underneath 25m high waterfalls, run through temple ruins built more than 1000 years ago, and finish the race in front of the world heritage site of Angkor Wat!
